American Family Taking Steps to Improve Relationship with Shops
Top ten auto insurer drops third party auditor Solera, begins research to accept estimates from all systems.Under the leadership of its new vice president of claims, American Family Insurance is making changes in its direct repair program that it hopes will improve the relationship it has with its shops. One of those changes involves accepting estimates from multiple estimating systems, and the other is to move its desk review process in-house.

Many Ohio statutes that impose civil liability for negligent, reckless or intentional acts that harm another include a stated time limit or "statute of limitations" within which a person seeking to recover damages under that statute must file a lawsuit.
