Cash Out Your Claim

Many consumers mistakenly believe that the insurer controls the claim and can choose who fixes your car, repairs your house or how much your claim is worth.

Simply not true. You control the claim. But, without a professional on your side, you will get taken.

The cost to consumers who collect on their claims without professional assistance is an estimated $20 billion each year.

If you have a claim pending with any insurer, they owe you cash, unless there is a written exclusion in the policy that you signed.

An indepth national survey conducted in 2006 by CIC's anti-fraud committee, a national organization of bodyshops and insurers, has concluded that insurers pay an average of 50% less for vehicle repairs if the consumer doesn't utilize a professional to negogiate with the insurer.

The survey found the average loss per claim to be $5,048, but the average paid out by insurers before a claims professional got involved was $2,498. The average amount owed to the consumer but unpaid by insurance companies was $2,550!

This represents only the repair portion of the claim.

It does not include the denials or short paying by adjusters for loss of use, loss of pay, personal injuries, compensations, diminished vehicle value, etc. These are areas that adjusters habitually lowball.

If you have a claim with an insurance company, contact an independent claims professional to do the negogiating for you. The initial consultation should always be free.

They will give you an idea what your claim should ultimately be worth and what their fee would be to help you.

Bodyshops that do not have contracts with insurance companies and personal injury attorneys can help you with the different parts of your claim as well.
